Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
  • Must be able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests and co-workers
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must meet federal, state, and local legal requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup emergency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and credit card programs
  • Educate customers on voice of customer surveys
  • Assist with omni-channel services including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise maintenance
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • Cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
