Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year bartending experience preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong knowledge of liquor types cocktails and garnishes
Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to complete liquor liability training within 30 days of employment

Job Qualifications

Prior experience as a bartender or in a similar role
Knowledge of liquor types cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques
Strong cash handling and point of sale system experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Certification in liquor liability or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Job Duties

Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
Be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks proper glassware used for each recipe as well as garnishes needed
Know drink recipes prices and type of beverages available
Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
Accurately charge guests for drinks and ensure correct intake of all monies
Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations at all times
Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
