Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled ending time unless directed otherwise
- Clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Provide sufficient notice for call outs as directed by supervisor
- Ability to work well in high-pressure situations
- Must be able to perform physical demands including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting 50+ lbs
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to serve and assist guests
Job Duties
- Respond to guest repair requests and document completion through the electronic work order platform
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for rooms and public spaces in accordance with the hotel PM program
- Ensure adherence to safety and health codes including pool and spa regulations
- Conduct full property inspections at the beginning and end of each shift, noting and addressing maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized during and after shifts
