Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well under stressful and high-pressure situations
- Must be effective in listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns
- Must communicate information and ideas clearly
- Must have a positive can-do attitude
- Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every scheduled shift
- Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
- Must be able to perform physical demands including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting over 50 pounds
- Must read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Technical trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve all guests
- Able to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting 50+ pounds
- Proficient in English language for effective communication
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible ensuring they feel properly welcomed
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Respond to all guest repair requests and document completion through electronic work orders
- Keep up-to-date with all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety and health codes strictly
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts and address maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized
- Wear approved uniform and maintain a professional appearance
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
- Submit accurate shift handover reports
