Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- minimum 1 year experience operating forklifts and commercial vehicles
- must be at least 21 years old
- ability to comply with DOT regulations
- valid endorsements including hazmat, tanker, and doubles
- proficient in English communication
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
- physical ability to perform manual labor and operate warehouse equipment safely
- able to work a flexible schedule, including part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification
- impeccable customer service and dedication
- valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in resident state
- hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
- 21 years of age or older
- meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company requirements
- ability to safely perform essential job functions
- able to read, write and speak English
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- strong organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment
- print Bill of Lading for daily deliveries
- process and palletize damaged penny and Return to Vendor merchandise
- follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace
- help maintain and care for dock equipment
- unload cargo using cranes or forklifts
- secure shipments upon arrival and before departure
- operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods safely and efficiently as needed
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols
- maintain accurate driving logs for hours, routes, and cargo conditions
- communicate with dispatch management about schedules, delays and issues
