This position is for a Dishwasher role within a dining service environment, reporting directly to the Dining Room Supervisor. Job Duties

  • Operate dish machine including scraping, soaking, stacking and racking soiled dishes, glasses, utensils, and other service wares
  • Return cleaned and sanitized service wares to appropriate storage areas
  • Keep all equipment including racks, bus tubs, and rack dollies clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Remove refuse including bagged waste and recyclable cardboard from dietary department
  • Maintain department floors by sweeping, mopping, and scheduled stripping
  • Assist cooks by washing pots and pans
  • Clean work area per schedules and assignments
  • Provide support to other dining rooms and special programs as needed
  • Assist chef with dessert preparation, garnishing plates, and delivering room service trays
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Attend and participate in required in-services according to federal, state, and company regulations
