Job Description
This position is for a Dishwasher role within a dining service environment, reporting directly to the Dining Room Supervisor. Job Duties
- Operate dish machine including scraping, soaking, stacking and racking soiled dishes, glasses, utensils, and other service wares
- Return cleaned and sanitized service wares to appropriate storage areas
- Keep all equipment including racks, bus tubs, and rack dollies clean, sanitized, and organized
- Remove refuse including bagged waste and recyclable cardboard from dietary department
- Maintain department floors by sweeping, mopping, and scheduled stripping
- Assist cooks by washing pots and pans
- Clean work area per schedules and assignments
- Provide support to other dining rooms and special programs as needed
- Assist chef with dessert preparation, garnishing plates, and delivering room service trays
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Attend and participate in required in-services according to federal, state, and company regulations
