Job Duties
- Operate dish machine including scraping, soaking, stacking and racking soiled dishes, glasses, utensils and other service wares
- Return service wares to appropriate storage areas once cleaned and sanitized
- Keep all equipment including racks, bus tubs and rack dollies clean, sanitized and organized
- Remove refuse generated throughout dietary department including bagged refuse and recyclable cardboard
- Maintain department floors by sweeping, mopping and scheduled stripping
- Assist cooks with washing pots and pans
- Clean work area according to schedules and assignments
- Provide support services to other dining rooms and special programs as needed
- Assist chef with preparing and dishing up desserts, garnishing plates, preparing and delivering room service trays
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Attend and participate in required in-services
