Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to comply with health and safety guidelines
- Availability for scheduled shifts including every other weekend
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated compatibility with Presbyterian Homes & Services mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic understanding of sanitation and safety standards in a kitchen environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently and safely
- Assist in meal preparation and dining room set-up as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organizational policies
- Support the dining experience by preparing dining areas before and after meal service
- Collaborate with kitchen and dietary staff to ensure smooth operations
- Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to supervisors
