Job Duties
- Operate dish machine including scraping soaking stacking and racking of soiled dishes glasses utensils and other service wares
- Return service wares to appropriate storage areas once cleaned and sanitized
- Keep dishwashing equipment including racks bus tubs and rack dollies clean sanitized and organized
- Remove refuse generated within the dietary department including bagged refuse and recyclable cardboard
- Maintain department floors by sweeping mopping and scheduled stripping
- Assist cooks with washing pots and pans
- Clean work area according to schedules and assignments
- Provide support services to other dining rooms and special programs as needed
- Assist chef with preparing and dishing up desserts garnishing plates preparing and delivering room service trays
- Maintain a clean professional work environment
- Attend and participate in required in-services
