Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum three years experience in dining services
  • At least two years in supervisory capacity

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, staff, direct and coordinate all dining room activities
  • Report on dining room status to Director of Dining Services
  • Assist with employee scheduling
  • Attend weekly meetings and training
  • Maintain meal records and submit charges
  • Set up for special functions
  • Maintain rapport with residents
  • Consult with Executive Chef on feedback
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
  • Ensure staff adhere to schedules and proper attire
  • Provide service consistent with high standards
  • Operate within budget
  • Assess and enhance resident satisfaction
  • Plan and execute special functions
  • Hire, discipline and evaluate employees
  • Supervise wait staff
  • Perform waitress duties when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
