- Ability to pass background check
- ability to pass annual motor vehicle record (MVR) without major violations

Job Duties
- Assist in packaging meals and milk to ensure meals are appropriately sealed and insulated to maintain food safety standards and counts are accurate
- load packaged meals, milk and supplies in vehicles using drivers' checklist or route sheets to verify accuracy
- load delivery equipment into company vehicle to be transported to designated sites and clients ensuring proper placement of hot and cold packs for food safety
- safely drive company vehicle following traffic laws on designated route to deliver meals and supplies timely
- maintain cleanliness of vehicle and delivery equipment according to cleaning schedule
- report any safety or mechanical issues to supervisor through daily and weekly vehicle checks
- deliver and return mail to and from Central Kitchen, dining centers, volunteers, and program participants
- assist with volunteer route meal delivery if volunteers are unavailable
- report delivery problems immediately to supervisor
- assist in pick-up and delivery of offsite program food and supply inventory
- maintain friendly and respectful interaction with dining centers, volunteers, participants, and public
- maintain ongoing communication with coordinators and administrative personnel
- ensure predictable, consistent attendance
- perform all other duties as assigned
