Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, talk or hear, and use taste or smell regularly
Occasionally able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
Must complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months related experience and/or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence in English
Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
Basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting using American money and weight measurements
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to complete company training programs

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to fresh foods standards
Provide customer service and assist customers with inquiries
Clean work areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards
Unload stock shipments and reload salvage products according to standards
Participate in required training including food safety and customer service
Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment
