Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk regularly
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk, hear, and taste or smell
- Occasionally able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
- Willingness to participate in and complete required training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Effective verbal communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using American money and weight measurements
- Completion of company training programs including food sanitation and customer service
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
- Provide customer service and assist customers with product inquiries
- Clean work areas to maintain hygiene and safety
- Unload stock and reload salvage products efficiently
- Participate in required training programs including food sanitation and safety
- Cooperate with team members to create an incredible place to work and shop
