Job Requirements
- Day Porter and cleaning experience
- familiarity with OSHA laws, guidelines, and proper cleaning supplies around children at school
- bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Coordinates and oversees daily cleaning, stocking, supplying of all paper products
- setup chairs and tables for various setups in hall, cafeteria, and throughout the school or preschool when needed
- interfaces with building staff on cleaning and supply of restrooms and manages recycle program
- perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- monitor and restock restroom supplies and ensure hygiene
- remove trash and replace liners in common areas, breakrooms, office spaces, and cafeteria
- clean and maintain entrances, front offices, hallways, and other high traffic areas
- respond to cleaning or maintenance requests as needed
- assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs
- help with office or classroom moves
- monitor public/common facility areas to meet cleanliness and safety standards
- monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking appliance use
- assist in movement of furniture, equipment, and supplies
- manage and respond to help desk tickets
- requisition supplies and equipment needed
- execute and assist in event setup and arrangements
- work with Facility Manager to maintain vending options
- ensure meeting rooms and public areas remain orderly
- conduct daily rounds inside and outside buildings to ensure cleanliness and report issues
- ensure outdoor areas are free from debris
- provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors
- perform other duties as designated by Facilities Manager
