Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • At least 18 years old
  • Maintain reliable attendance
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Basic knowledge of retail operations and administrative processes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
  • 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image
  • Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications
  • Assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is complete
  • Process customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information
  • Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to Management as appropriate
  • Support Management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperwork is properly completed and filed
  • Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations
  • Utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management
