Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk regularly
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to smell
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Must have close vision and color and depth perception
- Willingness to participate in all required company training
- Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Mathematical skills including basic addition, subtraction, and discount calculation
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Willingness to complete company-required training including orientation and technical skills
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently
- Provide various services at the customer service counter
- Maintain security and control of all funds in the cash register
- Perform duties of floor monitor when one is not assigned
- May be assigned as on-duty floor monitor
- Perform duties of cashier and bagger as appropriate
