Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to smell
- Ability to occasionally climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Completion of company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, technical skills for customer service clerk and floor monitor
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and calculate discount percentages
- Ability to perform basic operations using units of American currency
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Willingness to participate in and complete required training
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of our customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register
- Provide various services at the customer service counter
- Maintain security and control of all funds in the cash register
- Perform duties of floor monitor when not assigned
- Act as on-duty floor monitor when assigned
- Perform cashier and bagger duties when appropriate
