The Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities and recreational spaces for the community to enjoy. Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Ability to work 25-30 hours per week on site
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and varying hours
- Physical capacity to perform manual labor
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Completion of the tenth grade or equivalent educational level
- Some experience in cleaning or related manual labor
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, day or night shifts
- Basic knowledge of custodial and maintenance practices
- Capability to perform physical labor tasks
- Good communication skills for following instructions
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties in Parks and Recreation buildings
- Maintain buildings and properties in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Conduct minor maintenance and repairs as assigned
- Ensure proper care of maintenance equipment and supplies
- Follow written and oral instructions from the Facility Maintenance Manager
- Work independently and efficiently without direct supervision
- Complete tasks within assigned hours maintaining quality standards
