Job Requirements
- must pass a ten year background check and pre-employment drug test
- must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
- must be able to carry a 70-pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches and carry a 70-pound suitcase in front of you with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet
- must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time
- must have sufficient vision and ability to perform the position's essential functions safely

- able to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays
- able to operate ground service equipment

Job Duties
- Processing customer's tickets
- checking baggage
- monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity
- assigning seats
- providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
- handling denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, accommodating customers, and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers
- ensuring FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed
- enforcing safety/security measures and protecting sensitive zones
- assisting customers with special needs
- completing sales reports
- performing ramp, commissary, and aircraft cleaning duties
- moving luggage and co-mail
- loading and unloading baggage
- operating ground equipment including tugs and belt loaders
- marshaling aircraft to and from gates
- servicing aircraft lavatories
- performing aircraft interior cleaning
- conducting aircraft and commissary security searches
- maintaining ramp safety and cleanliness
- following safety regulations and using safety equipment
- communicating via two-way radio
- attending required training
