Job Requirements

High school degree or GED
Some experience in quantity food production or housekeeping preferred
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Safe use of tools, utensils, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
Successful completion of background and pre-employment checks
Availability for variable hours including occasional weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school degree or GED
Some experience in quantity food production
Some experience in housekeeping
Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
Strong team player with good communication skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Job Duties

Fulfill menu requirements and serve meals
Wash pots and pans, trays, dishes, and take out kitchen trash
Cover, label and date leftovers for proper storage
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas
Take and record food, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwashing machine temperatures
Attend team meetings and participate in in-service training
Clean assigned areas according to schedule and launder linens and children’s clothes
Maintain storage areas and inventory of cleaning supplies
Report safety hazards and needed repairs
Participate in quality improvement activities
