Job Requirements
- high school degree or GED required
- some experience in quantity food production or housekeeping preferred
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to safely use tools, utensils, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
- successful completion of all required background and pre-employment checks

Job Duties
- fulfill menu requirements and serve meals
- wash pots and pans, trays, dishes, etc
- take out kitchen trash to outside trash bins
- cover, label and date all suitable leftovers for storage
- maintain personal cleanliness, as well as cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas
- take and record food temperatures at mealtime
- take and record refrigerator, freezer and dishwashing machine temperatures
- attend team meetings as required
- participate in required in-service training
- clean assigned areas according to daily and weekly schedules
- launder linens and children's clothes as assigned
- maintain storage areas and cleaning supplies inventory
- report needed repairs or safety hazards immediately to supervisor
- attend assigned meetings
- participate in required in-service training
- participate in quality improvement activities as assigned
