Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
- Possess Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation
- Knowledge of special dietary needs of residents and required meal prep techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Follow all food safety and equipment safety procedures
- Knowledge of and compliance with community quality standards and requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly food service to residents and staff
- Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures in food preparation
- Order, receive, and rotate stock with the Dietary Supervisor
- Follow recipes to ensure consistency of food products
- Prepare and serve meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned
- Assist in meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
- Comply with all food safety and community quality standards
