Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using American money, volume, and weight measurements
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- ability to use hands and fingers dexterously
- ability to handle hot, cold, and extreme environments
- ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
- willingness to cooperate with team members
- ability to handle hazards such as hot surfaces, knives, sharp objects, and electrical equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- culinary experience
- sales experience
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- effective verbal communication skills
- knowledge of cooking terminology and food safety practices
- ability to handle kitchen equipment
- use cooking methods and portion control
- garnish food appropriately
Job Duties
- prepare, process, package, and stock products according to fresh foods standards
- provide excellent customer service
- clean work areas regularly
- unload stock supplies
- reload salvage products according to fresh foods standards
- participate in required training programs
- cooperate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
