Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a restaurant or foodservice environment
  • flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or certificate in Culinary Arts is preferred
  • ServSafe certification is preferred
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with team members, follow instructions, and ensure safety in the workplace

Job Duties

  • Prepare all dining room foods (hot and cold) in accordance with high culinary standards and specifications
  • maintain a strong knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and kitchen policies/procedures, and apply appropriate culinary techniques
  • follow menu recipes and instructions from the Executive Chef to ensure meal orders are prepared accurately and served in designated areas
  • portion food based on production schedules and recipe guidelines, while adhering to safe food handling practices and critical control temperatures
  • operate all kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and utensils during and after each shift
  • consistently follow all kitchen policies and procedures
  • perform other duties as required to support kitchen operations
