Job Requirements

  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
  • Hearing, writing, typing
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
  • Must have a knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Must have good mathematical and computer skills
  • High school education preferred
  • Relevant training and experience required
  • Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates
  • CPR training and first aid training preferred
  • Additional language ability preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner
  • Ensure guests are satisfied and fulfill any additional requests
  • Ensure food and beverages are sufficiently stocked at all times
  • Answer questions regarding the food, the hotel, and the local area
  • Clear and reset counters at conclusion of each service
  • Ensure cleanliness of lounge
  • Clean and wipe down tables and service areas
  • Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints
  • Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures
  • Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested
  • Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Accurately use various office software
