Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • completion of college level courses with concentration in Business or Hospitality is strongly desirable
  • five or more years' experience in the hospitality industry
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, and e-mail
  • strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to walk and climb stairs
  • ability to detect auditory or visual emergency alarms
  • ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide information and services to residents
  • identify and clarify residents' needs and desires
  • answer questions and give directions and instructions
  • develop inventories of services
  • manage and screen messages
  • help residents establish accounts and schedule access for authorized vendors
  • arrange dining, tours, travel, entertainment, accommodations, rentals, gifts, sporting events, transportation, meetings, secretarial, couriers, communication, mail, personal appointments, medical services
  • remind residents of schedules and provide support
  • run errands and personalize services
  • anticipate required services by understanding residents' moods and styles
  • organize social events and event planning
  • obtain and evaluate resident feedback
  • maintain guest privacy and confidentiality
  • update job knowledge through educational opportunities
  • accept ownership for new requests and explore ways to add value
  • follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • perform other duties as required
