Job Duties

  • perform opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and necessary instruments
  • clean equipment and areas
  • lock doors
  • organize, stock and maintain work areas
  • enter orders in the cash register system and collect payments from customers
  • take orders, enter them in the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
  • ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • clean tables, cart areas for coffee
  • maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
  • obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
  • compute cash at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, deliver receipts and secure the cash
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform
  • support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
  • provide team support to meet common goals
  • meet quality assurance expectations and standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or throughout the work shift
  • visually read and verify information in various formats
  • inspect tools, equipment or machines for defects
  • perform fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination tasks
  • reach overhead, below knees, bend, twist waist, crawl and stoop
  • navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
  • climb stairs and service ramps
  • greet and recognize all guests per company standards
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
