Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant
- Experience in food and beverage in a luxury environment preferred
- Flexible night and weekend availability
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs regularly
- Strong service orientation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service as well as luxury core standards
- Must be able to speak read write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic computational ability
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs on a regular and continuous basis
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- A second language is desirable
Job Duties
- Assist with greeting guests creating a good first impression for the dining experience
- Completion of all opening and closing side work
- Provide detailed descriptions of all menu items assisting with pairings while ensuring accurate orders are taken
- Provide the highest service standards possible to all guests
- Full knowledge and descriptions of all wines beers and cocktails and be able to make recommendations
- Service of cocktails wine and champagne in accordance with safe alcohol service standards
- Maintain the cleanliness of server stations and equipment
- Meet and exceed all guest request and expectations with a professional attitude
- Adhere to proper cash handling procedure including tip reporting due backs and bank
- Complete all closing procedures
