Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant food and beverage serving experience
  • Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification if applicable
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math proficiency for handling transactions
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities outside the primary role

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year of previous experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive wine and spirits knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests
  • Basic math skills with proper credit card and cash handling capabilities
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications if applicable
  • Flexible schedule able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests and promptly serve food and beverages
  • Receive and process orders accurately in the POS system
  • Ensure guests have an outstanding experience and address any complaints immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, countertops, and work areas
  • Perform setup and breakdown of various stations such as deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso
  • Prepare drink condiments when necessary
  • Assist with seating guests and answering phones as business demands
  • Perform all other sidework
  • Adapt to responsibilities outside of the job description as needed
