Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of relevant food and beverage serving experience
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Alcohol Awareness Certification if applicable
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities outside the primary role
Job Qualifications
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred
- Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive wine and spirits knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests
- Basic math skills with proper credit card and cash handling capabilities
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications if applicable
- Flexible schedule able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests and promptly serve food and beverages
- Receive and process orders accurately in the POS system
- Ensure guests have an outstanding experience and address any complaints immediately
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, countertops, and work areas
- Perform setup and breakdown of various stations such as deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso
- Prepare drink condiments when necessary
- Assist with seating guests and answering phones as business demands
- Perform all other sidework
- Adapt to responsibilities outside of the job description as needed
