- class a cdl license required for multi-unit cmv operations
- class b cdl license with air brake endorsement required for single-unit cmv operations
- valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- ability to pass motor vehicle record screen
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- minimum age 21
- compliance with dot and cdl regulations
Job Qualifications
- class a cdl license for multi-unit cmv or class b license with air brake endorsement for single-unit cmv
- valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration
- ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- must be at least 21 years old
- knowledge of dot and cdl regulations
- experience driving semi-truck or trailer preferred
- experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service preferred
- forklift or moffett operating experience preferred
Job Duties
- provides smart customer service through daily execution of company policies
- seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating and loading merchandise
- listens and responds to customer and employee questions by walking them through projects
- communicates product and warranty information to customers
- plans delivery activities and loads trucks according to schedule
- inspects products before delivery and matches items with invoices
- ensures compliance with DOT regulations and safe loading practices
