Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Part-time availability up to 24 hours per week
- Must work one weekend shift per week
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds frequently
- Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel
- Ability to work in cold environments including cooler and freezer areas
- Ability to walk short distances
- Good sense range including vision, hearing and smell
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to all by greeting with a smile and individually thanking them for their business
- Accurately scan customers groceries and complete all transactions efficiently
- Carefully and efficiently bag groceries
- Perform price checks as needed and restock returned product in a timely manner
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
- Respond promptly to customer needs and questions and request assistance when necessary to ensure customers are checked out quickly
- Show respect for the customer and give great service while practicing healthy boundaries in all interactions
- Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Manager on Duty
