Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions

- apply common sense to carry out instructions
- ability to deal with multiple variables in standardized situations

Job Duties
- Operate cash register by scanning merchandise
- engage customers through suggestive selling
- process refunds and merchandise credits
- use loss prevention techniques
- follow company policies for transactions
- promote Ace Rewards program participation
- maintain familiarity with ads, rebates, and pricing
- answer telephones and refer calls
- greet customers and assist with merchandise questions
- use S.A.L.E.S. process to help customers
- assist customers in locating products in-store and online
- stock and maintain merchandise displays
- assist with color matching and paint mixing
- collect carts and carry merchandise to customers' cars
- assist with service areas such as key cutting and knife sharpening
- follow nightly maintenance checklists
- refer customer complaints for resolution
- maintain regular attendance and work flexible schedules
