Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands regularly
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
- Ability to read and write in English
- Completion of company training including orientation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge
- Ability to work in wet or humid conditions and be exposed occasionally to fumes and mechanical parts
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- Willingness to participate in required training
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs
- Exceed customer expectations during shopping visits
- Follow correct bagging procedures
- Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles
- Return shopping carts into the store
