Job Requirements
- Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma/GED
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Current Lifeguard Certification including First Aid, CPR and AED
- Accomplished and demonstrable swimming abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensure the safety of customers at Waterloo Pool by visually scanning all areas of the facility
- Determine whether customers are in distress and perform in-water rescues or assist when necessary
- Provide first aid to customers when appropriate
- Provide emergency care and treatment until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude and uphold a high standard of customer service
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Prepare and maintain appropriate records and reports
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies, procedures, work and safety rules
- Perform other duties as assigned
