Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Current certification in lifeguarding and first aid
- Ability to swim and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
- Ability to recognize patrons in danger
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current lifeguard certification
- Knowledge of customer service practices
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Competence in performing water rescues and first aid
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
- Punctual and reliable with consistent attendance
Job Duties
- Ensure the safety of customers by visually scanning all areas of the facility
- Determine whether customers are in distress and perform water rescues as necessary
- Provide first aid and emergency care until medical services arrive
- Maintain a professional appearance and high standard of customer service
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties to keep the facility safe and clean
- Prepare and maintain records and reports
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work rules
- Engage with patrons to create a positive experience at the pool
