Job Requirements
- Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma/GED
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Current Lifeguard Certification including First Aid, CPR and AED
- Accomplished and demonstrable swimming abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensures the safety of customers at Waterloo Pool by visually scanning all areas of the facility, determining whether customers are in distress, performing in water rescues and/or assisting when necessary, providing first aid to customers when appropriate
- Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Always presents professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service
- Performs various cleaning and maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Prepares and maintains appropriate records and reports
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Performs the job in a safe manner and in compliance with policies, procedures, work and safety rules and the employee handbook
