Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
complete company’s required training including orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly
ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
ability to work in environments with moderate noise, wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes and toxic chemicals
ability to communicate in English
physical ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
must comply with safety standards and company policies

Job Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
ability to write simple correspondence in English
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
willingness to participate in training
ability to work effectively in a team
ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
follow correct bagging procedures
provide carryout and parcel pickup service
load merchandise into customer vehicles
return shopping carts to the store
participate in and successfully complete required training
communicate effectively with customers and team members
