Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and negligible force regularly to move objects including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and inspecting small parts or details
- Availability to work flexible shifts between 8 am and 10 pm, including every other weekend
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Comfortable working as part of a team or independently
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts between 8 am and 10 pm
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Basic math skills for cashier duties
- Comfortable with standing for extended periods and lifting up to 35 pounds
- Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small details
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
- Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating additional items when needed
- Accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager
- Support opening and closing store activities when needed
- Provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while remaining current with all updated services and tools
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health
