Job Requirements
- Completed secondary education or equivalent diploma
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Understanding of integrating classroom instruction with practical training
- Ability to perform tasks with or without reasonable assistance
- Capability to handle physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and standing
- Willingness to follow privacy and confidentiality guidelines
- Commitment to maintaining store appearance and cleanliness

- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to offer prompt and respectful assistance to customers
- Proficiency in standard cleaning duties to uphold store cleanliness
- Knowledge and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Strong verbal communication skills

- Ability to explain product benefits and features to customers
- Competence in operating cash registers accurately
- Understanding of local laws regarding sale and service of alcohol
- Skill in safely handling equipment like floor scrubbers and hand jacks
Job Duties
- Establishes good relationships with colleagues and communicates effectively with leaders
- Upholds the privacy and confidentiality of records and information under their control
- Manages end-to-end customer transactions and tidies store premises
- Restocks merchandise on shelves and maintains well-presented merchandise displays
- Provides excellent customer service to facilitate a positive shopping experience
- Informs supervisory staff about product or inventory issues and scanning discrepancies
- Participates in inventory counting adhering to guidelines to verify accuracy
- Observes cash policies and procedures to prevent financial losses
- Maintains steady flow of fresh products by regularly stocking and rotating items
- Follows merchandising planograms to create exemplary product displays
- Categorizes fresh supplies and breaks down empty boxes systematically
- Uses machinery safely and efficiently in performing stocker duties
