Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel regularly
- ability to reach with hands and arms
- ability to talk or hear and smell
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- ability to adapt to occasional wet and/or humid conditions
- ability to work in an environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
- ability to complete company’s training including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- ability to work in a moderate noise level environment
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- willingness to participate in and complete required training
Job Duties
- take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in required training
- work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales
