Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly
- ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- willingness to work in environments occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
- successful completion of company training including orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- willingness to participate in required training
Job Duties
- take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in and complete required training
- maintain a safe and clean work environment
