Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell regularly
- Occasionally able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to perceive close vision and depth perception
- Successful completion of company training including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- Willingness to participate in required training
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding expectations
- Follow correct bagging procedures
- Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles
- Return shopping carts into the store
- Participate in and complete required training
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
