Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- complete company's training including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, talk or hear, and smell regularly
- ability to occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- willing to work in moderately noisy environments
- able to handle occasional exposure to wet, humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
- able to follow written or oral instructions
- able to interact positively with customers and team
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
Job Duties
- take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in and complete required training
- communicate effectively with customers and team members
