Job Requirements
- be at least 16 years of age
- complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and smell regularly
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- ability to work in environments with wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold conditions
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to detailed instructions
- willingness to participate in required training and teamwork
Job Duties
- take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in and complete required training
- communicate effectively with customers and team members
