Job Requirements
- associates must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to stand and walk regularly
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- willingness to participate in all required company training
- ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- ability to work in an environment occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
Job Qualifications
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- willingness to successfully complete required training
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
Job Duties
- take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in required training to increase customer satisfaction and sales
- maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
