Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- complete company training programs including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to use hands and arms to handle and reach
- capable of lifting and moving up to 40 pounds
- willing to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- able to work in environments occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
- willingness to work as part of a team to increase customer satisfaction and sales
Job Duties
- take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs
- exceed customer expectations to ensure a pleasant shopping experience
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in and complete required training
