Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to use hands to handle and feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
- Ability to work in environments with wet and/or humid conditions
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts
- Ability to handle exposure to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals occasionally
- Completion of company training programs including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, technical bagging skills, and product knowledge
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed oral or written instructions
- Willingness to participate in and complete required training
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Follow correct bagging procedures
- Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles
- Return shopping carts into the store
