Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- capability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- willingness to work in environments with moderate noise levels, occasional wet and/or humid conditions, exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme cold
- ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic math skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but routine instructions
Job Duties
- take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in and successfully complete required training
- work collaboratively with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales
