Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- willingness to participate in and successfully complete required company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- ability to stand and walk regularly
- ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- ability to read and write English
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work in environments exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, extreme cold, and moderate noise levels
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
- ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer’s needs
- follow correct bagging procedures
- provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- load merchandise into customer vehicles
- return shopping carts into the store
- participate in and complete required training
- maintain a pleasant and satisfying shopping experience for customers
