Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
- Completion of company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed oral and written instructions
- Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer’s needs
- Exceed customer expectations to make every shopping visit pleasant and satisfying
- Follow correct bagging procedures
- Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles
- Return shopping carts into the store
- Complete required training including safety and product knowledge
